De quoi s’agit-il ?
Dans le prolongement de la cartographie nationale des acteurs de la gestion des risques (RRC), l’Association Française pour la Prévention des Catastrophes Naturelles et Technologiques (AFPCNT) a lancé en 2023 une démarche de recensement et de cartographie des différents acteurs œuvrant dans le domaine de la réduction des risques de catastrophes à l’international (RRC).
L’objectif de cette cartographie internationale est de connaître, d’échanger et de collaborer avec des acteurs de la gestion des risques agissant à l’international. Dans un premier temps, cette cartographie s’adresse aux acteurs français et francophones ayant des actions de gestion et de réduction des risques à l’international. Plus qu’un référencement au sein d’un annuaire, ce travail doit permettre à tout professionnel du domaine de se positionner comme un acteur clef, de promouvoir son action à l’international et de développer des partenariats.

What do we want?
In 2021, the French Association for Disaster Risk Prevention (AFPCNT) has launched a survey and mapping of different stakeholders working in the field of the Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR).
The aim is simple: discover, exchange and collaborate to work better together! Beyond identifying a directory of various stakeholders, this tool will allow every professional to promote his action on different cooperation levels and develop partnerships.
This survey is considered as a collaborative and dynamic tool. The data is collected through a survey conducted with the stakeholders and it will be regularly updated as the French DRR evolves.
Associations have been the main target in 2022. 67 associative actors have been identified: 33 national associations, 20 local associations, 14 thematic associations and 1 foundation.
The AFPCNT is pursuing the survey work and has already started to enlarge this directory to other stakeholders. Territorial governments (4 identified until now), public institutions (8 identified until now), businesses (32 identified until now) and consultancy offices (3 identified until now) have been the main targets for 2023.
8 academic institutions, 4 state services and 1 community project have also been included to this mapping.
If the survey is now based in France, we would like to extend it to a European and international network, beginning from the French and French-speaking stakeholders.
